Who We Are

Welcome to South Shore Preschool!
We are a non-profit, cooperative preschool for 3- and 4- year old children in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

We believe that young children learn best through play. At South Shore Preschool our curriculum is designed around this concept. Organized play develops into thinking time, language learning, problem solving, investigation and development of social skills. The result is the physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth of the preschool child.

The cooperative nature of our school enhances a child's first school experience. Parent participation in all aspects of our school program eases the transition from home to primary school, helping children to grow toward independence and enabling parents to gain greater understanding of their own child and other children.
